Join us for a discussion about Big Apple Diaries by Alyssa Bermudez.

In this graphic novel memoir, the author, a young New Yorker, draws doodles in her diary in middle school―until September 11, 2001, when a terrorist attack leaves her wondering if she can ever really be a kid again.

After the discussion, we'll have a virtual illustration workshop with Alyssa Bermudez!

Recommended age: 8-12 years/ 4-6 grades
