STEAM (Grades 3-5): Snapology LEGO Projects / Earthquake Buildings In-Person
Put your engineering skills to the test! Students will explore how engineers design structures to withstand earthquakes, then use LEGO® bricks to design and build their own earthquake-resistant creation. We’ll put the structures to the test, see what survives, and give our young engineers a chance to improve their designs. A Garver engineer will join us to help connect the challenge to real-world engineering.
Each week at the library, we explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! We'll discuss a different theme each week and do hands-on activities and experiments to learn more.
Registration is required for each class and begins two weeks prior to the start date. Please be sure to put child's first and last name when registering.
