Cries from the Cotton Field In-Person
The Springdale Public Library invites you to a screening of "Cries from the Cotton Field" with a special visit from its award-winning director Larry Foley.
This film follows the journey of 19th-century Italian immigrants from their homes in northern Italy through their difficult relocation to the Arkansas Delta, and ultimately to the flourishing community of Tontitown, the haven of Italian culture and cuisine in Northwest Arkansas.
