Raising a Reader: Early Literacy (Parents) In-Person
Are you interested in fostering a love of reading in your young child? Are you unsure of where to start? Join Dr. Jordynn Fraser for a talk on practical ways to get the most out of reading with your child to help improve cognitive, language, and social development.
You will learn how to grow a love of reading in your children and establish early reading skills in young readers. This talk will give you the scientific data about the impact of reading on develop and provide parents with strategies to develop reading skills and habits with your children.
There will be an opportunity for questions, discussion, and sharing of ideas between parents. Parents are welcome to bring their children!
Registration is required, but a limited amount of spots will be available the day of the event.
