Hispanic Heritage Month Author Visit with Alyssa Reynoso-Morris (Grades K-3rd) In-Person
Join us in welcoming Alyssa Reynoso-Morris, author of the award-winning picture book Plátanos Are Love! The highlight of this event is an interactive bilingual read-aloud of Alyssa's heartwarming book, Plátanos Are Love. Designed to captivate young readers and their families, this engaging storytelling session promises to transport children into the world of the book, creating cherished memories for all in attendance. Following the read-aloud, children are encouraged to participate in a creative writing activity led by Alyssa herself! This activity aims to spark creativity and empower young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of their imagination. Please note that the 10:00 session is intended for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
